Degree Programs

If you are an Exercise Studies Major or thinking of enrolling in the Exercise Studies program, please attend one of our Fall 2011 Advising sessions. We are here to help you with your scheduling. See dates and times below: (Room 241 in the PE Building)

  • March 31st (Thurs) 11:00-12:30
  • April 4th (Tues) 5:30-6:30
  • April 8th (Fri) 10:00-12:00

The Movement Sciences department offers degree programs leading toward an Associate of Science (AS), an Associate of Applied Science (AAS), or an Associate of Arts (AA). Within these degree programs students can pursue electives in Physical Education and/or Health Education.

A specific degree program is offered in Exercise Studies (AS).

Exercise Studies (AS)

The Exercise Studies program is designed specifically for those students who wish to transfer to four-year college programs in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, Sports Management, Athletic Training, Fitness Testing, Personal Training, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Research in Human Performance to name a few. This degree program provides students the opportunity to pursue careers in the exploding field of Physical Wellness.
