The following online training is Provided by the University of Akron, OH
Microsoft has modified the Office 2007 programs to make it easier to locate the commands for the work that you want to accomplish. These changes in the interface will require adjustments to the way you do things. This course will allow you to review some of the major changes in Office 2007 and to experiment with the new screen elements.
The most noticeable change is the absence of the familiar menus and toolbars, which are replaced by a new element called the Ribbon.
View the following lessons to guide you through the change. You do not need Office 2007 to do these lessons. Each of the four lessons is in PDF format for viewing and printing. Lesson 1 has two videos that are accessed within the lesson and highlight the main tasks in the lesson. There are also two interactive activities that may be done at any time, though it is recommended that you do these after Lesson 4.
