Abdelaziz Farah
Associate professor of Economics. Ph.D. Agricultural and Resource Economics, Colorado State University, MA, University of Leeds, England, and B.Sc. University of Khartoum, Sudan. Hubert Humphrey and Ford Foundation Fellowship Award Winner. Dr. Farah has taught in the University of Khartoum, Sudan, and Front Range Community College, Fort Collins, Colorado. This is his 9th year teaching macro and Microeconomics in SUNY-Orange. He delivers his courses traditionally by lecturing and provide Online and hybrid courses. He has authored a number of articles on poverty, food grain production performance, and agricultural pricing policies in Sudan. Locally, he has also co-writen articles on economic impact of SUNY-Orange and MASADA on Orange county's economy, and an analysis on the return on tax payer’s dollar investment in SUNY-Orange.
