Assessment
All newly matriculated students at SUNY Orange are required to take (or be waived from) the SUNY Orange administered course placement assessment. This exam assesses each student's reading, writing and math skills, and places the student into the appropriate level classes in each of these areas. The assessment exam is given in Port Jervis on Monday evenings at 6:00pm. Interested parties should call Bernard Dykstra, the Port Jervis Evening Coordinator, at 661-9069 to set up an appointment.
