English
Welcome to the Department of English. One of the college's largest departments, we offer courses, student support services, and special learning opportunities to aid you.
English Department AI Philosophy
In the SUNY Orange English department, we believe that the act of writing has the potential to deepen students’ understandings of themselves and the world. We aim to empower each student to develop their own unique writing voice. The use of generative AI hinders the experience of writing as a process of discovery and genuine communication.
