- Planning courses
- Discussing educational career paths
- Defining graduation requirements
- Referrals to college services - financial aid, academic help, child care, and more

Q. Who is my advisor?
A. You will be assigned an advisor by the Advising and Counseling Center (341-4070).
Q. When should I see my advisor?
A. Whenever you have academic questions. Check your advisor's office hours, posted outside their office door.
Q. When will my advisor contact me?
A. It is your responsibility to make an advising appointment.
Q. Is advising really necessary?
A. Students who consult with their advisor are more likely to make informed and realistic choices. Advisement is an essential piece of your successful college career.
