Institutional Diversity and Equity Committee
Membership will consist of:
- 2 members from each Academic Division
- 2 members from Support Staff
- 1 member from Professional Staff
- 2 members of the Student Body
Ex Officio Members will include:
- Associate Vice President of Newburgh Campus
- 1 member of the Cabinet
- Advocate for Services to Students with Disabilities
- 1 member from Student Support Services
- Affirmative Action Officer
Charge:
The committee reviews and updates Affirmative Action Plans, policies and procedures; recommends to the President the creation of new policies and procedures or the amendment of existing ones; anticipates issues pertinent to institutional diversity or equity; serves as a forum to discuss and act upon such issues; and participates in the development and implementation of strategies and activities to achieve the goals of the committee.
