Important Dates and Information
With the commencement ceremony being held the Saturday after Final Grades are posted, notification to students not meeting graduation requirements will not occur until a day or two before the commencement ceremony, Saturday, May 17th. Please plan ahead accordingly.
In addition, students who wish to apply Spring 2008 transfer credit toward graduation requirements, must submit an official transcript to the Records & Registration Office by Tuesday, May 13th. If this does not happen, then your graduation will be deferred until August, 2008. The $40.00 graduation fee will apply at that time.
Students who meet the requirements to graduate, but who have unresolved obligations/holds to the college (such as Balance Due, Library Hold, etc.) will be allowed to walk in the ceremony but will receive an empty diploma cover. After your hold is cleared, you may receive your diploma at the Records & Registration Office or you may pay a $7.00 fee to have your diploma mailed.
RESERVE THESE DATES NOW!!!
Even though you applied for graduation through the Records and Registration Office you must still contact the Office of the Vice President for Student Services by returning the postage paid post card which will be mailed to you the first week of April. You must indicate whether or not you will be participating in the Commencement Exercises. This will ensure that your name is on the line-up. The post card must be returned to us by April 20. If you prefer you may use the link below to complete the card electronically.
