About the Institute
The Institute for Nonprofit Leadership and Management at SUNY Orange started in January 2005 and is a joint initiative of:
- Orange County Chamber of Commerce
- Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan
- Orange County Citizens Foundation
- Orange County Government
- Orange County United Way
The Institute for Non-profit Leadership and Management acknowledges that the need for well-run non profit organizations is one of the most pressing issues in the philanthropic community.
Institute Programs & Services
The Institute offers a series of specialized courses that strengthen the specific needs and necessary skills of professionals who are working in, or are planning to work in the nonprofit sector. The Institute also sponsors an Annual Conference where nonprofits receive a more informed perspective on nonprofit issues by hearing from experts in the nonprofit field.
Ultimately we strive to enhance the accomplishments of non profit organizations; which in turn improves the quality of life for the citizens of the community.
