I9110 - Advanced ICD-9 Coding Online
Further develop your ICD-9 coding skills. This course summarizes the official coding guidelines concerning the most common yet complex diagnosis coding issues. You will navigate through the ICD-9 manual and cover coding clarifications, physician documentation issues, and coding scenarios. Real-life coding problems illustrating the issues are presented with ICD-9 CM solutions. Prerequistie: Medical Terminology and Introduction to Coding. Purchase of CD and ICD-9 Volume I & 2 required. 39 Hours.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE CLASS START DATE TO INSURE PROPER ONLINE COURSE SETUP.

This text is also used in I9108: Introduction to Medical Coding Online.

For this Medical Coding and Billing Specialist online program only, you have the choice to purchase from whatever price level book and publisher of the ICD-9 Manual. Once enrolled, the instructor will contact you with more information.
Required CD:
