N3042 - Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter Certification: One day training
You will learn legalities, patient selection for PICC insertion, complications, interventions, infusion rate calculations, vein selection for placement, patient education, demonstration/return demonstration of catheter insertion, verification of placement (also includes Midline insertion procedure), information needed for accurate documentation, evaluation and recommendations. You must be an RN or NP to attend this course. Please call (631) 471-1263 regarding qualifications. Class duration time may vary based on enrollment. Bring IV certification, a copy of your license and a bag lunch. 1 session.
