N3043 - Phlebotomy, Peripheral and Central Line Intravenous Certification: One day seminar
You will learn Legalities, potential risks, fluid and electrolytes, specific solutions, complications and interventions, types of peripheral and central catheters (Hickman, Broviac, Groshong, Ports, PICC), care and maintenance of all VAD's, calculating infusion rates, vascular identification, documentation, demonstration, practice, and return demonstration, evaluation and recommendations. You must be a medical professional to attend this course. Please call (631) 471-1263 regarding qualifications. Class duration time may vary based on enrollment. Bring a bag lunch. 1 session.
