Professor Stephen Winter

Professor Winter is the senior full-time member of the SUNY Orange faculty. He is the 2008 recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, The President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the Region I Association of Collegiate Schools of Business and Programs Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Professor Winter’s teaching interests are Marketing, Management and Economics. He served twenty-four years as the Chair, Division of Business Administration, and Chair, Department of Business Management. He has published over thirty articles in Marketing and Management. He has given workshops on business and Distance Learning (two with Professor Lucinda Fleming) at six national conferences.

Steve serves on the board of directors for Occupations Inc., and New Dynamics Corporation—organizations dedicated to serving the disabled.

Steve played hockey, baseball, softball and ran track. He continues to be a sports enthusiast.
