Since her start there in 1989, Barbara has taught courses including Intro. to Business, Marketing, Marketing Management and Advertising.

Barbara enjoys the Students; she holds them to standards but encourages them through their personal challenges hoping to imbue them with confidence, marketable knowledge and ethics.

Previous to teaching full-time, Barbara held positions in Consumer Research for large corporations and Ad Agencies in Manhattan. She deciphers for students real-world-from-textbook with colorful “war stories”, referencing her years of presentations, travel, consumer research and Client Service for e.g., Mobil Oil, Lever Brothers, G.E. and Pepsi, e.g. Barbara earned her Bachelors in both marketing and psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson Univ., NJ and MBA in Finance from Iona College, NY.

She and her husband, an electrical engineer, have 3 daughters, the eldest of which attends Mom’s college, and 3 dogs.
