Club Activities
The 2003 PBL-FBLA Conference in Baltimore, Maryland
At this conference we learned:
- how to write a business plan.
- how to interview better for potential employment.
- how to carry on an easy conversation with a complete stranger.
- how to deal with difficult people.
- how to handle money better
Club Trips to actively learn about Business!
Each semester the club members go on a business related trip. These have included:
- Wall Street
- Museum of TV and Radio
- Rockefeller Center
- NBC Studios
- United Nations
- NY Stock Exchange
- Empire State Building
The Club has adopted a family every year since 2003 for the Holiday Seasons. We've had
a blast shopping and wrapping gifts for the families!
Club members participated in the raffle ticket sales for the Orange County Chopper Raffle to raise funds to help facilitate wireless technology on the campus.
The club brings in professionals from industry to speak to members at club meetings on a regular basis. Topics have included:

- Marketing Yourself
- Labor Management Strategic Alliances
- September 11th in the Banking Industry
- The Business of Publishing
- Corporate Espianoge
- What Does a Big Box Company Want in a Manager?
The Management Marketing Club awards two scholarships each semester to club members. Recipients have been:
