"It was a wonderful surprise to have received a scholarship. I truly am grateful for the support and confidence you have in me. This scholarship is extremely important as this semester will be part of a final push towards finishing my associate degree in Business Administration. My path has been long and at times seems to have no clear end in sight. I work in excess of fifty hours a week. As such, it has become a tenuous task of managing a successful academic and personal career. Considering that I have made the Dean’s List the last three consecutive semesters and I have been promoted three times within a year at my job, I think I have made great strides. Thank you again for the scholarship and I promise not to disappoint."
